Item type:Publication, The Framework of Using Mobile-Learning in Higher Vocational Colleges with Extended UTAUT Model(2024-01-01); With the development of mobile communication technology, mobile learning has become a significant medium of higher education, especially during the COVID-19 outbreak. The large-scale mobile learning is a deep combination of teaching and modern information technology. In this context, the analysis of the factors affecting the mobile learning behavior of students is helpful to promote the process of the integration of online education and offline education. Item type:Publication, Understanding the Impact of Self-efficacy, Personal Innovativeness and Content Quality on Mobile Learning Usage in Higher Vocational Colleges(2024-01-01); The advent of internet technology has led to a surge in interest in mobile learning, particularly among students in higher vocational colleges. Despite this growing interest, there are still some challenges such as low usage rate and unsatisfactory effect of mobile learning among students in higher vocational colleges in China. The objective of the research is to determine how students’ intention to use mobile learning could be enhanced in Chinese higher vocational colleges. The extended UTAUT model was employed to investigate the factors influencing the intention and use behavior of mobile learning among Chinese vocational college students. Three variables of self-efficacy, personal innovativeness, and content quality were incorporated. A total of 636 higher vocational college students in seven regions of China were selected, and there was little difference in the prior knowledge level of all students. This study demonstrates that self-efficacy, personal innovativeness, and content quality have a positive and significant influennce on the use of mobile learning based on the UTAUT model. Additionally, self-efficacy has a significant impact on the four constructs of UTAUT model. The findings suggest that higher vocational colleges and mobile learning developers should implement effective strategies for mobile learning. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Testing and Measurement on students' intention to use mobile learning based on UTAUT model(2024-06-14); The widely use of communication technologies and wireless network has changed people's lives in many aspects. In the current information age, traditional teaching can no longer meet the needs of students. The rapid development of wireless network provides a foundation for the advancement of mobile learning. This paper aims to build a tool to test the reliability and validity of the conceptual framework of factors affecting students' intention to use mobile learning in higher vocational colleges. The paper adopts the extended UTAUT model, including self-efficacy, personal innovativeness, content quality, with 9 latent variables and 58 items. The paper uses a sample size of 30 to perform the pilot test. The findings show 2 items have been modified and 1 item should be removed to get the better reliability and validity.
