    Information and communication technology have been developed and widely used nowadays. A good website should be readily accessible to every group of users. General users or users with disability should be able to access and understand the messages in a website equally well. However at the present, many people with visual impairment cannot access a website readily: They cannot search for information, in particular. Specifically, some university students in Thailand have problems accessing a website and understanding its content due to the website was developed by developers and associated personnel that lacked the knowledge and understanding of the principles that affect universal website accessibility and acceptance. This study, therefore, propose a conceptual framework based on the UTAUT theory of website acceptance. In addition to the main variables in the original theory which are applicable only to general users, two more main variables were included in this framework: Perceived convenience and perceived reliability. Two new moderators were added to it as well: web accessibility and vision impairment level. These extra variables and moderators were added in order to incorporate users' intention to use a website and their usage behavior in this framework. This framework would be of value to developers and associated personnel to help them understand the valid website design requirements for university students with visual impairment.

    (2025-01-01)
    Kasemwattanasuk, Thannaphat
    ;
    The landscape of education is rapidly evolving, driven by the proliferation of digital learning technologies, notably Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs). MOOCs offer accessible and flexible learning opportunities globally, while simultaneously, green entrepreneurship has emerged as a critical approach to addressing environmental challenges through sustainable business practices. This study aims to build a tool to test the reliability and validity of the conceptual framework of factors influencing behavioral intention to use Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) for the Green Entrepreneurship study in higher education institutions in Thailand, targeted at business students. The study adopts the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB), and the concept of self-efficacy with 7 latent variables and 43 items. The paper uses a sample size of 33 sample respondents to perform the pilot test. The index of item-objective congruence (IOC) for all questions was more than 0.5, indicating the usability of the instrument. Furthermore, a pilot study was used to test the reliability of the instrument and by analyzing the Cronbach's alpha coefficient at a confidence interval of 95%. The results of the analysis showed that the Cronbach's alpha coefficient was exceeding 0.93 overall, which was considered as an acceptable level. Thus, the instrument could be used to measure the factors influencing behavioral intention to use MOOCs for the Green Entrepreneurship Study.

    Factors Affecting the Investment Behavior of Generation X and Generation Z
    (2026-01-01)
    Thawong, Thitiworada
    ;
    ;
    While types of cohort generally build their different patterns of attitudes by certain conditioning forces—a social-economic-technical environment; this study tries to evaluate how two specific generations, namely X and Z, are always different from each other as far as the generational-determining forces are concerned into the investment behavior of these two groups. The qualitative study design involves the use of an item answering through set structured questionnaire items to measure the four latent variables out of the twenty-three items included. Three other well-known professionals validated the expert ratings concerning the perceived effectiveness of the questionnaires in that the item interrogated had Index of Item-Objective Congruency values above the requirement of 0.5. Through a pilot survey with a sample of 30 respondents, all constructs gave Cronbach's alpha coefficients over 0.7 with the use of the SPSS software program indicating that the degree of internal consistency and reliability of the research instrument was high in quality. Data resulted from SPSS analysis revealing a very high score in Cronbach’s alpha, exceeding 0.7 for all constructs that indicate internal consistency and reliability of the instrument. Therefore, understanding the factors that influence investment decisions across the two generations could well broaden and deepen the understanding of the currents that govern today’s financial behavior.

    The purpose of this research was to investigate the key factors that influence behavioral intention to adopt MOOCs. The study was conducted in three countries namely, Poland, Thailand, and Pakistan. The study was considered significant considering the advancements in technology that have had an unprecedented impact on education, and the need to conduct learning online due to the COVID-19 to pandemics. The research adopted the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT2) and extended it by including other variables including culture, social distancing, and absorptive capacity. The study was conducted using the quantitative methodology, where the data was collected using a structured questionnaire. The data was collected from a sample from each of the three countries, and sample sizes were 455, 490, and 513 for Poland, Thailand, and Pakistan respectively. The data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) and multi-group SEM analysis. The results of the study indicated that effort expectancy and culture significantly and positively influenced behavioral intention to use MOOCs in all three countries. As well, absorptive capacity is mediated significantly by performance expectancy and effort expectancy. Facilitating conditions have a significant influence on MOOCs in both Thailand and Pakistan. Social influence has a significant influence on behavioral intention to use MOOCs in Thailand, hedonic motivation and price value have a significant influence on behavioral intention to use MOOCs in Poland, and the habit has a significant factor in Pakistan. The keys aspects influencing behavioral intention to Use MOOCs were different in Poland, Thailand, and Pakistan, in various factors which are performance expectancy, social distancing, price value, facilitating conditions, and social influence. The research recommended that it is important to evaluate the situation and prevailing conditions of the concerned country, before implementing the MOOCs and the associated online learning practices.

    ;
    The e-commerce landscape is evolving rapidly, and businesses seek novel ways to enhance their competitive edge. In this context, understanding consumers' purchase intentions becomes crucial. Drawing from the Stimulus-Organism-Response (SOR) theory, we propose a conceptual framework investigating the factors influencing purchase intention in e-commerce live-streaming marketing. The research adopts Structural Equation Modeling (SEM), Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA), and hypothesis testing to evaluate the relationships. The findings revealed that the attributes of live streaming, including the live streamer, the product, and the field, as well as trust and impulsiveness, positively influence purchase intention. This study provides a novel perspective on live streaming e-commerce with evidence on how e-commerce live streaming drives purchase intentions, enriches the content of live streaming e-commerce literature, and explores the practical implications for marketing managers who are looking for marketing by live streaming.

    This paper examines factors that show how to shift consumer willingness to use emerging technologies on omnichannel. The goal was to understand what parameters influence consumer tendency to adopt developing technologies on Omnichannel. The study was motivated by a desire to better understand the challenges that emerging technologies face, as they are not widely used due to concerns about operability, safety, and privacy, in contrast to established technologies. The study utilized UTAUT2 and ECM Models to create a triangulation model. Furthermore, the study used empirical data to develop 11 hypotheses, nine constructs, and one moderating factor by Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The study was a quantitative survey using both online and offline shoppers in Thailand. A structured questionnaire was used to obtain primary data from a sample size of 520 people between May 12 and August 15, 2021. The result indicated that all the hypotheses were supported, and the variables were seen to have direct and indirect influences on the acceptance model. Finally, this paper proposes that combining the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology, Expectation-Confirmation Model, Service Quality, and Personal Innovativeness would allow for a better understanding of factors of Willingness to Use Emerging Technologies.

    ;
    ;
    Major organizations are maturing and have extensively used Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System systems. However, due to intense rivalry, China's small and medium enterprises (SMEs) have not yet implemented ERP systems. Therefore, the study aimed to test a model for the use of ERP System in Chinese SMEs. Using cross-sectional research design and purposive sampling technique data were collected from 660 Chinese SMEs ERP users. The SEM analysis results show that organizational, environmental, and service quality factors have a positive and significant impact on ERP usage in Chinese SMEs, while system and information quality also positively influence both ERP usage and user satisfaction. Task-technology fit, driven by task characteristics, has a positive effect on ERP usage, and human self-efficacy contributes positively to both ERP usage and user satisfaction. Additionally, ERP usage and user satisfaction both have a positive and significant impact on SME performance. These findings suggested that SMEs in China should focus on the enhancement of ERP-related factors to increase ERP adoption. Additionally, improving system and information quality, alongside fostering user confidence, can significantly enhance both ERP usage and performance.
