Item type:Publication, Quantum cryptography via a wavelength router for internet security(2010-11-01); ;Mitatha, S. ;Luangvilay, X.Yupapin, P. P.We propose a new system of quantum cryptography for internet security using Gaussian pulses propagating within a nonlinear ring resonator system, quantum processor, and a wavelength router. To increase the channel capacity and security, the multiplexer is operated incorporating a quantum processing unit via an optical multiplexer. The transmission part can be used to generate the high capacity quantum codes within the series of microring resonators and an add/drop filter. The receiver part can be communicated by using the quantum key (quantum bit, qubit) via a wavelength router and quantum processors. The reference states can be recognized by using the cloning unit, which is operated by the add/drop filter, where the communication between Alice and Bob can be performed. Results obtained have shown that the correlated photons can be generated and formed the entangled photon pair, which is allowed to form the secret key between Alice and Bob. In application, the embedded system within the computer processing unit is available for quantum computer. Furthermore, such a concept is also available for internet application via hybrid communications, for instance, wire/wireless, satellite, which can be used to form the internet security. © 2010 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Web attack detection using chromatography-like entropy analysis(2015-01-01); Web services are mostly attacked in various ways directly and indirectly. We calculate the Shannon entropy from web server log files, especially access logs, and then estimate the entropy distance to detect intrusions and identified them by distinct attack word lists as general, cross-site script, and SQL injection attacks. Item type:Publication, Defect detection of GPS trackers through data visualization(2019-07-01); A Global Positioning System (GPS) tracker installed in a vehicle is commonly used to improve logistics management processes and transportation safety. All GPS trackers must send data including locations, timestamps, and speeds to a server all the time. In case of a device failure, it can be checked by incomplete data; however, a device's sensor inaccuracy, which can create negative consequences to many parties, becomes a challenging issue to detect. With this reason, this paper aims to adopt data visualization to find out the defect of GPS trackers. It has been found that some defects noticed by a visualization were reported, and providers got advantage of this result to maintain their devices. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Anomaly SQL SELECT-statement detection using entropy analysis(2014-01-01); Database systems are often intruded because they store valuable information and can be accessed through Internet web applications which sometimes are not developed with security in mind. Attackers can inject some crafted inputs to those programs that work on database systems so that some unexpected results occur. We analyze the database system log files, focus on query statements (SQL SELECT statements), using the Shannon entropy to detect such anomaly attempts that would change conditional entropy significantly. P.We propose a new system of a molecular-quantum networking using the optical tweezers, where the transportation of molecules via wavelength router and network can be performed. In addition, the molecule transportation states can be identified by using the quantum states of the transporters, which can be formed in the network. The proposed fabricated material used is InGaAsP/InP, which can provide the required output signals. The design system consists of a nonlinear microring/nanoring resonator system incorporating an add/ drop filter and a wavelength router. The transporter can be formed by the dark soliton, and the optical transporter is tuned and amplified by the bright soliton and transmitted into the network. P.In this letter, we present a new technique for pulse shaping, whereas the dynamic pulse reshaping of the dark-bright soliton conversion is investigated and seen during the propagation within an add/drop filter. The dark soliton pulse is reshaped by adjusting bright soliton input, whose dispersions are adjusted to be cancelled. This technique exploits the well known property of the ultrafast pulse in which the desired output can be stored and form in the same manner of the adiabatic light pulse (cold light). Item type:Publication, A novel data transmission security via a noisy channel using a microring resonator system(2010-01-01); ;Mitatha, S.Yupapin, P. P.A novel encryption methods using microring resonator is presented. By using the proposed system, the confidentiality of information in optical communication can be formed. In this paper, chaostic noise sophisticates irreversible and unpredictable in nonlinear microring resonator that is used as the encrypted function. In our successfully simulation results, the noisy signals/channels created by the microring resonator are combined with the encoded information to protect the man-in-the-middle attacks (decipher). By using the extremely small processing device, the propose design can be easily applied to secure any form of communication in wireless network, mobile communication network and military applications with low power consumption and very high-speed procedures. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings

W.Recently, demand of freight transport increases tremendously and cause serious impacts on traffic congestion and air quality. In 2015, The Department of Land Transport of Thailand has introduced a project named "Nationwide Confidence with GPS Onboard" to install GPS tracking system on all trucks in Thailand. This project provides new sources of data in analyzing the freight-related traffics and designing remedial measures for freight-related issues. This paper aims to demonstrate the use of GPS data in determining truck activities, estimating truck origin-destination matrix and estimating the flow of different commodities. Item type:Publication, Microring Switching Control Using Plasmonic Ring Resonator Circuits for Super-Channel Use(2019-12-01) ;Tunsiri, Surachai ;Thammawongsa, Nopparat; ;Mitatha, SomsakYupapin, PreechaThe multi-wavelength selection and switching system using the hybrid plasmonic add-drop ring resonator (HPARR) for optical communication is proposed for multi-carrier super-channel-based designed. The plasmonic polariton technique applied in the ring resonator mode to the alternate waveguide interferometer switches the multi-wavelength laser emission in the various ranges. The combination of curvature-coupled plasmon ring and substances with different refractive index allows switching the multi-wavelength emission to shorter the free spectrum range (FSR) and specific wavelengths, without an applied pump signal or adjusted the ring size. Item type:Publication, National freight behaviours analysis from global position system data(2017-01-01) ;Chankaew, N. ;Sumalee, A.; Sutakham, N.Thailand has been identifying points of departure and terminal by the analysis of transportation origin-destination records. The record is the collection of report performed manually by departure's or terminal's authority. However, the nature of transportation is always dynamic which causes record became inaccuracy overtime. Moreover, the resource needed to collect such data is enormous. To resolve such need for more accurate and modernize data, the researchers purposed the methodology of using real-time data processing through automatic sensors. The research subjects in this research are 100,000 of public transport vehicles. The data is collected from various sensor attached to each vehicle. The amount of three months of data collections are used for study and develop an Analytic Algorithm to correctly and assisting in identifying points of departure and terminal. The result will be present in geographic map in the last stage for aiding executives or authority to efficiently developing traffic management plan.
