Item type:Publication, Capactive double layers uniformly distributed RC line and its applications to active filters(2000-12-01) ;Janchitrapongvej, V. ;Kawejan, K. ;Seatia, S. ;Benjangkaprasert, C.A technique for active low pass filter designed by using double layers capacitive uniformly distributed RC line (DURC) is presented. The proposed circuit configuration consists of two DURC and a single gain amplifier. Herein, α and K parameters of the circuit are used to improve the magnitude response. The structure reduces an amount of circuit complexity and simple to use for filter applications. The simulation by P-SPICE of the amplitude response and sensitivities are also given. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, The design of an active band pass filter using uniformly distributed RC line(2002-01-01) ;Phantonglow, R. ;Janchitrapongvej, K.This paper describes the realization of an active band pass filter circuit using a uniformly distributed RC line (URC). The proposed circuit structures resemble the Renz's band pass filter circuit, which consist of three URCs and a single positive gain amplifier. From the experimental results by Matlab and Pspice programs, it is showed that the behavior of the proposed band pass filter circuit gives a good narrow band and low sensitivity, better than Renz's band pass filter circuit. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, The design of an active band pass filter using uniformly distributed RC line(2003-07-14); ;Khempila, A. ;Panyanouvong, N. ;Saetia, S.Janchitrapongvej, K.This paper describes the realization of an active band pass filters using uniformly distributed RC line (URC). We proposed two circuits, the first proposed circuit consists of three URC and a single positive gain amplifier. The second proposed circuit consists of two double capacitive layers uniformly distributed RC line (herein after called DURC) and a single negative gain amplifier. From the experimental results by Pspice program, it is shown that the behavior of the two proposed band pass filter give good narrow band width, high Q and low sensitivity than does Renz's band pass filter. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, CAC with the modified call request delaying method in IP networks(2006-12-01) ;Ongpaibool, K. ;Konkaew, N. ;Lertwatechakul, M.; Suwansawat, K.In tliis paper, we propose an improving method for CAC (call admission control) process that could reduce call blocking rate in QoS network, especially in the saturated situation. We modified the proposed CRDM [12] by estimating the call request holding time for an expected new released bandwidth from the traffic descriptor of present active connections. The method performance is shown as simulation results in term of call blocking rate and network utilization ratio which compared among modified CRDM, original CRDM and the traditional CAC on IntServ over DiffServ framework. © 2006 ICASE. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, On-line writer recognition for Thai numeral(2002-01-01); ; ;Murata, S.Matsuura, T.This paper discusses an on-line writer recognition for Thai numerals. First, a center point of a Thai numeral is determined after normalization. Then the center point is shifted to an origin. Secondly, the distance from the origin to the pen-point position in the handwriting process is measured and the area of a triangle determined from the origin and the two adjacent points of the pen-point position is calculated. Thirdly, the features of pen-point movement in the process are extracted by expanding the time sequence of the above distance and area into Fourier series. Then the features of pen-point movement are represented in terms of Fourier coefficients. Fourthly, in order to describe the handwriting process features, the FIR system with the above coefficients as input and output of the system is introduced. Then the impulse response of the FIR system is used as the feature of handwriting process. Furthermore in order to recognize the writer, K-L expansion (J.T. Tou and R.C. Gonzalez "Pattern Recognition Principles", Addison-Wesley, pp. 269, 1974) of the obtained impulse response is used. In the experiments, the average rates of type I (false rejection) and type II (false acceptance) error were 17.14% and 9.26%, respectively.
