Item type:Publication, Wireless Carbon Monoxide Level Control and Monitoring SystemThis paper proposes an online carbon monoxide control and monitoring system. The proposed system comprises an MQ-7 CO gas sensor module, a DHT11 digital temperature and humidity sensor module, an ESP8266 module, and a Relay Module. The ThingSpeak platform is used to create HMI for online monitoring of CO level, temperature, humidity, and status of the ventilation fan. This proposed system can measure CO and monitor all parameters of measurement data, alert users when CO values exceed the set value. In addition, the measured CO values are used to control the ventilation system operation (ON or OFF) to maintain the CO at a non-harmful level. The experiment testing and results with three conditions show that the proposed system can measure and monitor CO level, temperature, and humidity online with satisfying values. The ventilation fan can operate with function as a design procedure and maintain CO at a non-harmful level. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Development of an automatic control system for pressure monitoring for wheelchairs(2024-01-01) ;Techahongsa, P. ;Thawinchai, N.This article presents the design of an automatic pressure control system for measuring pressure in hospital wheelchairs. The pressure measurement system employs a custom-designed 16x16 matrix force sensor. Experimental tests involving weight loads ranging from 400 g to 8 kg yielded sensor readings of 1000,940,730,600,500, and 400, respectively. These readings establish a clear correlation between the applied weight and the sensor's output. The article also details the design and implementation of an air distribution system aimed at effectively dispersing excessive pressure in areas indicated by the force sensor matrix. Experimental results displayed on the designed user interface demonstrate the system's capability to identify patient activities and postures while providing insights into the pressure distribution across different points. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Experimental Verification of Wind Power Generation System Using Diode Bridge Rectifier Circuit with Wind Turbine Simulator(2022-01-01); ;Reangkittakarn, Sitthaphat; Ohyama, Kazuhiro– This paper presents Wind Power Generation System using Diode Bridge Rectifier (WPGS-DBR method). Experimental results have been obtained by Wind Turbine Simulator (WTS). The WTS emulates wind turbine behavior using a servo motor as a drive system. Mechanical torque references used to drive the motor are calculated using wind turbine data such as wing blade, wind velocity, and wind turbine rotation speed. DBR method has three-mode control for three ranges of wind speed: low, medium, and high, respectively. In low and medium mode, the control system adjusts the armature current of a generator and DC link voltage with a Vector-Controlled Inverter (VCI) to control wind turbine speed. In high mode, the control system modulates the pitch angle of the wind turbine using a pitch angle control system for controlling wind turbine rotational speed. The DBR simplifies the maintenance of WPGS while improving reliability. Item type:Publication, Emulation Technique for Wind Turbines Using Servo Motor and Induction Motor(2024-01-01); ;Taecharoenwiriyakun, Suriya; This paper proposes the emulation technique for wind turbines using two types of motor, servo motor, and induction motor. The focus is on simulating the work process of wind turbines at multi-wind velocity to test the capacity and efficiency of generating three-phase electricity. The wind turbine emulator was created by using a program and mechanical parts. The goal of this emulator is to check the efficiency of wind turbine blades at different wind speeds and to test the accuracy of the simulation method by using a different motor. The first emulator uses a 400-Watt synchronous generator from a wind turbine connected to a 400-Watt servo motor controlled by a servo amplifier. The second emulator uses a 400-Watt synchronous generator from a similar wind turbine connected to a 400-watt induction motor installed with an encoder controlled by an inverter. Motor torque is calculated by using mathematic equations from the LabVIEW program, and the data of the wind turbine blade is simulated by using the ANSYS program. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings

In this paper focused on an analysis of the characteristics of the wind when the wind turbine blade is encountered using a commercial fluid dynamics solver such as Fluent by selecting the impact angle of 5, -5, 10, 15, 20, -10, -15 and -20 degrees. Aerodynamic characteristics such as lift coefficient, drag coefficient, lift to drag ratio has been evaluated in this study. Fluent simulation results will be compared with the result of the milling airfoil tested in wind tunnel. The focus is on simulation of the operation of wind turbines at different wind speeds to test the capacity and efficiency of generating three-phase electricity. The wind turbine emulator consists of a simulation program and a mechanical part. To simulate the power generation system of wind turbines, researchers use a 400-watt permanent magnet synchronous generator wind turbine connected to a 400-watt servo motor with a built-in absolute encoder and controlled by a servo driver. Item type:Publication, Resistive-Sensor Interfacing Circuit for Remote Measurement Using CFOA(2024-01-01); ; ; Kaewpoonsuk, AnuchaAn alternative approach to implementing an interfacing circuit for resistive sensor-based remote measurement is presented. The proposed technique uses a Current Feedback Operational Amplifier (CFOA) as an active building block to produce an output voltage linearly related to the resistance of the sensor. Moreover, the accuracy of the output voltage is improved by the enhancement of CFOA. In addition, the proposed circuit provides compensation for the effects of lead-wire resistance. The performance of the proposed technique is discussed in detail and confirmed by PSPICE program simulation and experimental implementation. The resistance decade box is used in the experiment. The maximum error on the output voltage of the experimental results is about 0.4234 %. The topology applied in the research is the 3 × 3 - matrix topology consisting of nine bi-directional switches. This paper focuses on the simulation of the proposed system using the MATLAB/ Simulink program to design the control algorithm for the PMSG. Item type:Publication, Pressure measurement device via a wireless network for the seat cushion(2022-01-01); ;Hewchaiyapum, C. ;Seangsuwan, N. ;Techahongsa, P.This paper presents wireless pressure measuring devices for the seat cushion consisting of an air cushion which reduces the chances of developing a pressure ulcer. A force sensor resistor (FSR sensor) is placed in the position where pressure is most likely to occur. FSR sensor is put under air cushions to help distribute the pressure and reduce the damage which may happen to the sensor. The pressure is applied to the sensors, they will send the data to the microcontroller (Arduino MEGA 2560) and then transmit data via Bluetooth to LabVIEW for display on the monitor screen with the measured pressure range which is divided into different colors. If the pressure is continuously applied for a period of 30 minutes, there will be a notification via the LED light to allow the user to change their sitting positions to reduce the likelihood of pressure ulcers. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Applied to reuse steam condensate water in Medium petrochemical plant to boiler feed water(2022-01-01); ;Seekhieo, A.In Thailand's petrochemical industrial estate which has a small or medium-size plant, boiler feed water is bought from the external boiler feed water provider to use in an incinerator to make steam for plant use, and the steam condensate water that comes after the incinerator process is sold back to the provider as well. The cost gap between bought water and sold water is considered a waste since the income gained from selling post-boiled water is less than expenses from bought water. In this paper, the research to improve the steam condensate water quality and reuse the water has been proposed. This application is to be considered to build the steam condensate treatment unit for treating water potential to reduce the overall operation cost (OPEX). The online analyzer is being used to control the chemical dosing package via a plant control system to check the quality of water and treat it in real-time so the water can be reused.
