    Results of artificial soil from wet garbage produced from thermal drum reprocess machine on the growth of Green Oak

    This research aimed to develop the wet garbage reprocess machine to produce artificial soil with thermal drum technique, evaluate the efficiency of artificial soil produced from the wet garbage reprocess machine, and examine the growth rate of Green Oak growing in artificial soil produced from wet garbage. Population was the seven entrepreneurs who used wet garbage disposal machine in the small-size industrial plant in Lat Krabang Industrial Estate, referring to the statistics of registered establishments in 2016. Sample groups was five entrepreneurs who used wet garbage disposal machine in the plant obtaining from the purposive sampling (based on the qualification of small-size plant with 120-300 manpower) in Ladkrabang Industrial Estate. Quality Function Development (QDF) was applied as the research method. TRIZ was used to analyze data while Completely Randomized Design was utilized for experiment planning. The experiment was repeated three times, with three plants a time. Experiment factors were three formulas of artificial soil from food scraps and one commercial soil mix. Duncan's New Multiple Ranges Test was used to compare the means of experiments. Green Oak growing in the commercial soil mix had the highest growth rate while that growing in the Formula one artificial soil from wet garbage had the lowest growth rate. The best artificial soil was the Formula two. Comparison of the qualifications showed that commercial soil mix did not contain the better nutrients than those in the three formulas artificial soil from food scraps. However, its pH was more appropriate for the growth of Green Oak than that in the three formulas artificial soil mix. Problems of the three formulas artificial soil were the incomplete decomposition of soil amendments and the inappropriate high alkalinity for the growth of Green Oak. Therefore, the growth results of Green Oak growing with commercial soil mix in terms of width, the length from stem and root, the length of root, the length of stem, fresh weight, dry weight, stem fresh weight, stem dry weight, root fresh weight, and root dry weight were different with statistical significance from those growing in the three formulas artificial soil, as well as the amount of pigment, which were Chlorophyll A, Chlorophyll B, total Chlorophyll, and carotenoid.

    Utilization process development for weeds in rice farms in central region in Thailand with application in furniture product designing for children

    Development of utilization process of weeds in rice farms is adding economic value and the materials are weeds in rice farms in 22 provinces in central region of Thailand. This research aims 1) to study physical characteristics of weeds in rice farms in central region, 2) to develop production process and transformation procedures, 3) to design furniture for children from weeds in central region's rice farms and 4) to assess satisfaction of consumers with furniture products for children which are made of weeds in rice farms in central region. Procedures to transform weeds in rice farms as wood substituting material start from digesting weeds with size of 1-2 centimeter before sundried and boiled with caustic soda and salt together with guava leaves for 50 minutes. After that, it is composited with isocyanate by using hydraulic compressor with heat at 100 Celsius Degree. Wood substituting material's specific gravity is 0.74 with moisture at 8.84%, module of rupture (MOE) at 5.53 MPa, modulus of elasticity (MOE) at 314.85 MPa, compression stress at 10.54 and compression stress // at 4.96 MPa while hardness of the wood substitute is 3,541.41 N. The analysis result of house of quality which is utility, material and production process where data are transformed as designing function with TRIZ was found that needs of target group are utility, uniqueness, materials, production and reparation process with significance at 5.0. The pattern has been developed in 4 designs for assessing satisfaction in design selection and the result is F(3,326)=20.17, Sig=0.002. This indicates that new design is different among 4 types and the second design of furniture for children has highest mean satisfaction (M=3.88, S.D.=0.76). Therefore, this design is used to produce a prototype. The consumers were satisfied with the prototype of furniture for children at high level (M= 3.61, S.D. 0.93) with satisfaction in utility at high level (M=3.79, S.D.=0.74). It was discovered that mean of pair comparison was statistically significantly different for 2 pairs including price/ utility (Sig.=0.018) and material/ utility (Sig.=0.016). Factors to evaluate utility, price, material and production process can be employed to predict satisfaction with new products with statistical significance level at 0.05. It is also positively interrelated with effectiveness of prediction at 35.55% (R<sup>2</sup> = 0.35). The prediction equation is Å= 0.39 +0.430 X<inf>1</inf> +0.149 X<inf>2</inf> +0.242 X<inf>3</inf> +0.344 X<inf>4</inf>.

    Mechanical Property of 9 Years Old Thinning of Teak Plantation in Thailand

    Based on the study of the conditions and problems of thinned teak in Thailand it's with findings that thinned teak or so called thinning for distance clearance being with small stems and can be sold at low price.Thinned teak was with mechanical property different with teak from natural forest with age over 30 years old with the results of most of the tests were with findings that the values of the mechanical property of teak from natural forest with age over 30 years were more valuable than the values of the mechanical properties of thinned teak with exception on Standard Test Method for Tensile and Cleavage Test of Timber which thinned teak was with more value than teak from natural forest with age over 30 years old. For guidelines on market value added for thinned teak can be made by producing to use in the context of the design of household goods made of wood as the guide for resolution of problems and creation of artistic work pieces household goods made of wood.

    Development of knowledge and participation of communities surrounding three historical park towards Thailand sustainable historical tourism

    The objective was to develop knowledge of members of communities surrounding Sukhothai, Si Satchanalai, and Kamphaeng Phet Historical Park towards Thailand sustainable historical tourism. Qualitative and quantitative data were collected. Data was analyzed using content analysis and descriptive statistics. At significance level 0.05 showed that people surrounding the three historical parks had knowledge of itinerary and tourist sites in good level, followed by knowledge of sustainable historical tourism, and facilities which were in the moderate level; people in the three locations lacked of English knowledge only. The analysis of the possibility of perceiving information and behavior of the members towards the sustainable historical tourism in the three historical parks indicated that the major problem leading to the difficulty in developing sustainable historical tourism was English language knowledge and income of community members. Therefore, the researcher organized the training projects to develop English language knowledge and promote income to people surrounding the three historical parks to recognize the abstract and factual value of culture and to strengthen sustainable historical tourism. The training projects with the statistical significance 0.05 illustrated that the participants from the three historical parks had better knowledge of English and income generating than before having training.
