Item type:Publication, An Improved Three-Level Full-Bridge Soft-Switching DC/DC Converter with Wide Load Range for Energy Storage System(2024-01-01) ;Sanajit, NarongritThis article aims to present an improved three-level full-bridge (3L-FB) DC/DC converter in which all switches can operate under soft-switching conditions for a wide load range. It is suitable for applications with high input voltage and input power. The proposed circuit has some interesting features: the voltage across the switch is only half of the input voltage. The phase-shifted switching pattern is used for the output voltage control. Furthermore, auxiliary inductors are added to the circuit to verify that the main switches are operating under the soft switching condition for a wide load range, particularly light load scenarios. And clamping diodes can also facilitate in achieving the soft switching condition, leading to improved performance by lowering the loss of semiconductor devices in the circuit. The proposed three-level full-bridge (3L-FB) DC/DC converter circuit has been designed and simulated, and the results of the prototype test at 2.5 kW of output power rating have been analyzed to confirm the performance of the proposed circuit. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Improved performance of a plasma cutting machine using a half-bridge dc/dc converter(2008-01-01) ;Sanajit, NarongritThis paper presents the design and construction of a plasma cutting machine by using a half-bridge dc/dc converter for negative direct current power supply and initial exciting arc by a high voltage high frequency circuit. When the gas passes a torch electrode, it will explode to be plasma arc and transfer to the work piece. The unique research work proposes the high voltage high frequency excitation on all of wide range for cutting metal. This process has been designed for an output power of plasma cutting machine at 2 kW by employing Isolate Gate Bipolar Transistors (IGBTs) as switches. The switching frequency is 20 kHz. The plasma cutting machine can cut 1 mm thickness of steel. When compared with a linear transformer plasma cutting machine, Super Air Plasma at 2.2 kW rated, the designed plasma cutting machine has an efficiency quite similar. In addition, the plasma cutting machine is small, light, and compatible. It has also a power and pressure less than the other one. © 2008 IEEE. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, A Modified Three-Level Soft-Switching DC-DC Full-Bridge Converter(2018-11-27) ;Sanajit, NarongritThis paper aims to present a modified three-level full-bridge dc-dc converter that can operate under soft-switching conditions for all switches in the circuit. There are 2 branches of three-level half-bridge inverter. The auxiliary inductances are used in the circuit in order to confirm the zero-voltage switching condition (ZVS) for all switches for wide load ranges. Moreover, the dc blocking capacitor is used for obtaining the zero-current switching condition (ZCS) for inner switches in the circuit. The proposed circuit was designed, analyzed and simulated at 2.56 kW of output power, 540 V of input voltage, 510 V of output voltage at 60° of phase shift angle and 50 kHz of switching frequency to confirm the possibility of the proposed theory. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, A Machine for Helping the Elder Getting Up and Down from Lavatory(2018-11-27); ;Meesrisuk, WatanyuSanajit, NarongritThis research presents the design and construction of a machine for helping the elder getting up and down from the lavatory. In order to help the elder or patients with health problems while they are using the lavatory, the machine has been designed with ease of mobility and installation. A structure of prototype is made from aluminum. Two units of 12 V of actuator linear motor [1]-[3] are used for moving up and down the lid of the lavatory. Both motors are controlled to rotate in the same direction and can bear the weight up to 120 kg. The H-Bridge circuit are applied to control actuator linear motors by using a microcontroller for generating PWM gate driving signals for each MOSFET. The 12 V 88 Ah of deep cycle battery level indicator device is used for supplying the energy to the machine.
