Item type:Publication, Environmental management of sky train station area, chaophraya river, Bangkok for smart transportation and traffic(2019-05-01); ;Nualsang, PrompapornPhetsinchorn, AueamaumpornThe purposes of the study for Environmental Management of Sky Train Station Area, Chaophraya River, Bangkok for Smart Transportation and Traffic are; 1) To study the physical environment around Chaophraya river, sky train station area. 2) To design the environment for a station near Chaophraya river, Phra Nang Klao Bridge Station. 3) To propose the guidelines for environmental management of sky train station area near Chaophraya river for smart transportation and traffic. This is survey and observation research using observation form and interview. Field survey was conducted around Phra Nang Klao Bridge Station at Chaophraya river area, and the data were descriptive analyzed. According to physical characteristic information of Phra Nang Klao Bridge Station at Chaophraya river area, it was found that this area is an important connecting point of mass transit system, boat and public bus. This is potential area to support commuters; thus, this is lead to summary of guideline for environmental management of Phra Nang Klao Bridge Station at Chaophraya river area. The proposed guideline is land use to develop Chaophraya river area to be a public area that facilitates recreational activities, such as, green area for smart transportation and traffic and orange area for merchant. Environmental management would be suitable for use pattern for most benefits. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Physical Media Information Promote Travel Services for the Migrant Community in Bangkok, Smart City(2019-04-01); Phetsinchorn, AueamaumpornPhysical media information promote travel services for the migrant community in Bangkok, smart city purpose objectives 1) To study the physical characteristics of the community, the location of the workplace and the residence of the alien community in Bangkok and its vicinities. 2) Design the physical media, community and information technology to facilitate the community health service. The study was carried out by 400 participants in the community network at Bangkok metropolis and metropolitan area. Data were collected by survey, observation questionnaire and data were analyzed by research format. Research results show that the problem of physical media in community and information technology that facilitates access to travel management in Bangkok and its vicinity. Factors affecting travel time. Vehicle selection is one of the main steps in the travel decision process, which depends on several factors. From the imagination of the city and the area of Bangkok and its vicinity are analytical plan. Item type:Publication, Control system technology of higher educational community traffic in Bangkok metropolitan(2017-07-01); The traffic network designed for the communities plan around higher education service areas in Bangkok and vicinity aimed to 1) study the traffic flow in the communities plan around the higher education service areas in Bangkok and vicinity, 2) study the appropriate information used to plan the traffic routes for the particular community's plan, and 3) provide control system of guideline for information needed for the traffic routes planning for the certain community's plan. The data was collected from 400 samples who were regular commuters in the certain area around the higher education service areas in Bangkok and vicinity through sets of questionnaires. Then, the data was analyzed based on the research methodology. According to the result, the researcher found that the city commuting network affecting the accessibility of each area should provide sufficient convenience for the commuting demand and it should be able to connect to other networks as well. Moreover, the traffic of the communities around the higher education service areas in Bangkok and vicinity must be easily understood, accessible, and each route must be used equally. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Transforming unitary habitats to multi-habitats in the Ladkrabang District of Bangkok Metropolitan Area(2015-12-23)Urbanization in outer city areas leads to conversion of agricultural land and formation of new urban settlements among agricultural communities. This can create adverse impacts on agricultural ecosystem as well as the traditional unitary habitats. This paper reveals the outcomes of three decades of planning interventions in an outer district of Bangkok and the transformation of habitats. It shows that a unitary habitat can be transformed to a multi-habitat while creating symbiotic relationships between agricultural and non-agricultural functions through planning interventions. The paper recognizes the change in focus and of successive planning interventions as the main factor responsible for this symbiotic relationship. Although this is an unexpected outcome of the planning interventions, the paper argues that progressive change of focus of plans can be a planning strategy to form multi-habitats and thereby plural societies. Moreover, it argues that such a planning intervention can counteract against the current trend of building unitary habitats by real estate developers which lead to segregate the urban society according to a new set of social classes based on economic strength. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Eco-design and energy saving concepts for the agricultural-commercial fringe communities in western Thailand(2018-10-05); ; ; Pechsinjon, AumampornThese The purpose of this study was to develop planning for the communities along the agricultural-commercial fringe in the Special Economic Zones of western Thailand corresponding to the area's physical environment, activities and commuting patterns. In order to fulfill the purpose, this study has analyzed the significant activities and commuting patterns of the communities along the particular fringe area in the Special Economic Zones of 5 western provinces as well as the opinions towards community planning given by 400 residents living in the certain areas. The findings indicated that the establishment of an economic development plan for the development of commuting routes of the Special Economic Zone in the western part of Thailand is very appropriate. The plan will ultimately enhance economic development by optimizing all commuting routes, activities, and resources that originally exists in the local environment and economically impact all community throughout every region of Thailand.
