Abstract
The research objective was to develop Hierarchical Linear Model (HLM) of information technology (IT) use behavior of secondary school teacher. Sample group was 810 secondary school teachers from 117 schools under Office of The Basic Education Commission in academic year of 2010. Questionnaire was used as instrument for data collection and it had content validity and reliability of each variable between 0.918-0.982. HML program was employed for data analysis. Results revealed that HLM of IT use behavior of secondary school teacher was composed of 2 levels of predictor variables that were teacher level and school level. In the mixed model, predictors at teacher level were ability, affection, and income and each variable had positive effect to behavior with statistically significant at level of 0.01,0.01 and 0.05 with regression coefficient that equaled to 0.302, 0.141, and 0.041 respectively, predictors at school level were school friend, and school former sector had positive effect to behavior with statistically significant at level of 0.01 and 0.05 with regression coefficient that equaled to 0.331, and 0.094 respectively. The outcome mixed model was able to present in term of equation as BEHAVIOR=4.620**+0.331**(SCFRIEND)+0.094*(SCFORMER)+0.302**(ABILITY) +0.141**(AFFECT)+0.041*(INCOME). © EuroJournals Publishing, Inc. 2012.
