Abstract
In this paper, a new class of adaptive step-size control algorithm for a second-order adaptive IIR notch filter based on lattice form structure for detection of sinusoids in noise environment is introduced. The proposed algorithm is adjusting by the new gradient signal, the new autocorrelation of output signal and the new autocorrelation of the error signal to control the step-size of the algorithm. By the proposed method, the optimization of the coefficients of the filter is obtained. The simulation results confirm that the performance of the proposed algorithm provides fast convergence speed, low variance, low bias and low mean square error of filter coefficients.
