Resonant enhanced third-harmonic generation in a photonic hyper-crystal

Abstract
We numerically demonstrated an efficient third-harmonic generation (THG) in photonic hypercrystal. We found that the highest THG conversion efficiencies is obtained due to strong localized field of surface wave and light confinement from Bragg reflection.
