Abstract

This paper proposes analysis and investigation of the islanding phenomenon of a three phase, 0.75 kW, 220/380 V, 3.46/2A, Δ / Y connected, 1400 rpm, 4 pole grid connected induction generator. Analysis and investigation on grid connected induction generators under transient and steady state conditions are given. Research results will be guidelines for islanding protection equipment of grid-connected induction generators.
