Variable step size algorithm for lattice form adaptive IIR notch filter

Abstract

An Adaptive Lattice second order IIR Notch Filter (ANF) based on variable step size (VSS) algorithm is proposed. The proposed ANF gives good convergence property, i.e., high convergence rate than the ANF which is used the Direct Form structure as based on gradient algorithm. Moreover, it gives a good performance in statistical senses such as variance bias and mean square error (MSE). Therefore, the estimated parameters have high accuracy.
