Abstract
The need of computing collaboration, data sharing, and other interaction involve distributed resource is essential for scientific research and commercials. Web Service and Grid technologies are adopted to enable wide-spread sharing and coordinated us of heterogeneous networked resources. However, these potential benefits are also desirable for human communities. Traditionally, Grid is the middleware infrastructure for the powerful scientific computing while Web Service is service-oriented architecture provides a capability for managing networked resources. The merging of the capability can be applied to Grid and Web Service integration for scientific, commercials and human communities. In this paper, we present the convergence of Grid and Web Service technologies and also propose our Web Service architecture to enable interoperability for the Open Grid Service Architecture.
