Abstract
This paper presents two microwave power splitters, utilizing equivalent T-shaped transmission line (TL) model. The advantages of the proposed over the conventional splitters are not only superior miniaturized size but also suppress harmonic response due to its' periodic structures. Both the proposed Wilkinson divider and Hybrid coupler based on the T-shaped TL are designed and fabricated on an FR-4 substrate at IGHz and 2GHz, respectively. The measured results of the proposed structures are compared and show good agreement with the simulated results.
