Abstract
The ultra-wideband (UWB) technology is becoming an important part of a high-speed data rate in the fields of wide band application including impulse radio and in short range wireless communication system. According to the best performance, so the effects of indoor environmental surface building for the wireless communication technology are necessary to be studied. This paper experiments studies the effects of the electromagnetic wave scattering including a distortion of signal transmitting on wall reflection model at indoor environment. Furthermore, we considers and compares about characteristics of building surface (cement block) between smooth and rough wall at each direction path of channels by using the horn antennas in transmitter and receiver with the vector network analyzer (VNA) cover UWB frequency range from 3 GHz. to 11 GHz.
