Abstract
Input impedance of a probe excited rectangular cavity-backed slot antenna is characterized in this paper. By using the method of moments together with the dyadic Green's functions, the input impedance at the feed probe for various parameters, viz. frequency, slot length, slot offset, probe length, probe location and the cavity size are illustrated and discussed.
