Abstract
The efficiency improvement applied to the minimum-external-component-count active snubber boost converter by a new timing diagram is presented. The ZCS condition is occurred over the auxiliary switch at the turn on state. The main switch is achieved the ZVS turn on condition. The effectiveness of the proposed control-timing diagram soft-switching active snubber boost converter is verified experimentally.
