Abstract
This paper demonstrates the magnetic near field coupling between two ports at a computer board. Based on a failed radiated emission measurement result the coupling is found by evaluation with a probe and a spectrum analyzer and different electronic modifications like filtering and cable routing. The electromagnetic filed mitigation at a parallel port with integrated capacitors is based on the maximum efficiency which is determined by the impedances of noise source, peripheral cables and filter capacitors.
