Abstract
This paper proposes an analog-to-digital converter circuit operation in current mode based on CMOS technology. The cascode current mirror is used for comparing the current, the track and hold circuit is used to convert the bit and shift the compared bit to the shift register. This proposed circuit is a new circuit design with 0.8 μrn CMOS technology with 1 μs/s conversion rate, 200 μA operating input current, 10.1 mW power dissipation, all performances are better than the previous papers. This proposed circuit is able to extend the bit by increasing the clock signal and the shift register in order to obtain the higher number of bits.
