Abstract
An efficient algorithm, suitable for simulating both dispersive and non-dispersive interdigital transducer delay-lines in the time domain, has been proposed. Several characteristics of the transducers have been incorporated into the algorithm, including: metallic finger widths, overlapping finger lengths, the ▿(υ)/υ effect, inter-electrode reflections, and reflections from the ends of the delay-lines. Several simulated examples showing the usefulness of the algorithm are also given. © 1991 Taylor & Francis Ltd.
