Abstract
The paper extends a previously proposed simulation framework to reduce overheads while maintaining realism. Object structure is represented by a set of volumetric cells with cores reside in. External forces applied on the object are propagated within object volume by the relocation of cores from one cell to another, thus creates deformations and displacement. As reactions are determined from within object geometry, physical accuracy is presumably high. Moreover, since object elements are considered as volume with some properties, it requires less calculation than in node-link relationship suggested in previous work. Object structure, deformations and displacement, and some experimentation are described.
