Abstract
Mean square error (MSE) analysis of adaptive IIR notch filter with constrained poles and zeros using the power spectral density (PSD) method is proposed in this paper. The lower bound of the MSE is derived in closed form. The proposed method is very simple as compared with the compared analysis method. Moreover, the simulated results are conducted to confirm the theoretical analysis. It is found that the proposed analysis provides more accurate results than the compared analysis method, especially when the signal frequency is in neighborhood of 0.5π. © 2008 IEEE.
