Influence of organizational factors on workers’ desires: An investigation of manufacturing industry

Abstract
The prime objective of the present study is to examine the impact of corporate social responsibilities, volunteering meaningfulness and supervisor support on Desire to Have significant impact through work and organizational pride. Moreover, the study also examined the mediating role of organizational pride, as well. The study was conducted in the manufacturing industry in Thailand, and data was collected from employees working there. The data was collected in the form of questionnaires developed from past studies. The purposive sampling has been used and sent the surveys by personal visit. The researcher employees’ PLS-3 for the analysis of the data. The findings of the study support all of the direct as well as mediating relationships. The present study fills the gap of limited studies conducted to analyses the factors of Desire to have significant impact through work. Moreover, the results of the present study are helpful for policymakers to develop strategies by which they can make their employees proud.
