Abstract
An integrable circuit technique for implementing square-rooting circuit is presented in this article. The proposed circuit achieves a wide-band capability and can be operated with a low-voltage supply power. The realization method is based on the use of the characteristic of MOS translinear principle and suitable for fabricating in a standard CMOS digital process. The accuracy of the circuit is also high over the entire dynamic range. Simulation results demonstrating the characteristic of the proposed circuit are included.
