Abstract
The solar energy conversion via space transmission technique is investigated by using white light source launching into a length of fiber laser. Light is partially pumped by a pumping source along the erbium doped fiber length. The high frequency range is formed the up-link conversion by a modulator known as a LiNbO3 crystal which is modulated by a high frequency generator, then the required energy can be transmitted then received by an earth station. Preliminary results have shown the feasibility of using such a scheme for solar energy conversion application.
