Abstract
This paper investigates on mitigation of conducted electromagnetic interference (EMI) emissions generated by dc-dc converter by using passive filtering technique. Both common mode (CM) and differential mode (DM) conducted noise emissions are studied in this paper in order to effectively eliminate or reduce them from the dc-dc converter system. To obtain an appropriate value of EMI filter elements, the optimization is necessary. The simulation and experimental results can finally confirm the effectiveness of the applied algorithm. Moreover, the reduced EMI is conformed to EN 55022 class b standard that finally shows the electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) of the power converter system. © 2014 ICIC International.
