Abstract
Generally, there are many of the error evaluation methods which employed for the length measurement system. The reversal error is one of the important sources of the error. Normally, it is compensated by using the linear error compensation but some residual error is found for measurement uncertainty evaluation. This paper presents a method which is a new design of an automated line scale measuring machine (ALSM) error compensation module. It can be able to compensate the reversal error from the ALSM by reducing the reversal error approximately 10% more.
