Abstract
The new SDH network in Thailand is an integrated network, where different media such as OFC and Radio Relay are used to transmit the SDH payloads. This article describe the SDH radio route characteristics and performance such as route map. The radio system use 128. QAM modulation with upper 6 GHz band, 40 MHz channel spacing for STM-1 signal The channel arrangement will be in accordance with Rec. ITU-R F384-6. Baseband interfaces inclusive the SOH processing have to be considered for STM-1 signals in accordance with Rec. ITU-R F,750-3. The system performance objectives will be respect with to Rec. TU-R F.l 1891 and Rec. ITU-T G.826.
