Abstract
U-shaped slot antenna is one type of microstrip antenna, it consists of slot antenna on the ground plane fed by microstrip line. In this research, we will consider slot antenna by using three types of substrate : PTFE-glass on dielectric constant 2.17, PTFE-quartz on dielectric constant 2.47 and Polyester-ceramic on dielectric constant 6. This antenna is analyzed by using Finite Difference Time Domain (FDTD) method on design frequency 10 GHz and match impedance 50 ohms. The simulation results are input impedance, return loss, VSWR and radiation patterns.
