Abstract

This paper focuses on design and simulation of the galvanically isolated quasi-z-source dc-dc converter with a novel zero voltage switching technique and its control method for implementing power conversion. This system applies to interface renewable energy to the dc-microgrids. The quasi-zsource converter overcomes the conceptual and theoretical barriers and limitations of the traditional voltage-source converter. This system consists of quasi-Z-source network, dcdc converter, full-bridge converter with high frequency transformer and voltage double rectifier. To describe the operating principle and control. The simulation results obtained from the MATLAB Simulink program have confirmed the proposed circuit.
