Abstract

A general-resistance conversion circuit that can transform a given resistance into a positive and a negative resistance is proposed. The converted resistance is floating and its magnitude can be varied by electronic means. The circuit can be used in both a voltage-controlled mode and a current-controlled mode. Since the lateral pnp transistors are not placed in the signal paths, the circuit has a wide bandwidth. © 1986 Taylor & Francis Group, LLC.
