| dc.description.abstract | Modern electronic and information technology equipment require a low DC voltage for operation. Therefore, a power supply used in these devices must be capable of a wide voltage conversion. This paper presents an analysis and experimental verification of a Tapped Inductor Buck Converter (TIBC), which employs a coupled inductor to realize a steep voltage step-down gain. A prototype TIBC is built and tested. The measurement confirms that experimental results are consistent with the analytical ones. | |
