dc.description.abstractAccording to the problems of excessive consumption of natural resources and the increasing trend of manufacturing across the globe at present, the need for transformation to sustainable consumption and sustainable production has been put on centre stage. One of the solutions to these problems is conducting business operations with the responsibility to the environment to reduce environmental impacts by changing consumption patterns relative to the consumers. This will lead to the business strategy in Product-Service Systems for furniture business‏ under the concept of the Green Business Model to meet the consumers' needs. This research is, thus, a study of the behavioural trends of furniture usage, an analysis on environmental awareness of consumers in Thailand, and a search for the methods to provide services that will be accepted by the consumers to incentivize them in having sustainable consumption behaviours.
