dc.description.abstractThis article attempts to find out the results for the manufacturer of ecology high voltage trap and kill small insect especially mosquitos. Due to the environment factor, it is necessary to turn on the tool at all time according to the ministerial regulation. This concept, high voltage power supply for killing mesh grid has been turned off to save the energy and is turned on when a target insect is to be kill. A turn on time that is fast enough to kill the insect complete is therefore taken into consideration to obtain the appropriate condition. A sampling of high voltage generating circuit manufacturer suitable for mosquito trap was perform. Apply appropriate input voltage to the input port of the high voltage power supply circuit, the turn on time is measurement. Testing data is useful in that we can know the appropriate input voltage for using a high voltage power supply in the mosquito trap that need to save electrical energy by turn off the high voltage power supply. The input voltage of the high voltage circuit is divided into 2 group. The first is ordinary battery with different material such as 2 cell of carbon-zinc (1.5V×2) alkaline (1.5V×2), lithium-ion and lithium-polymer (4.1v). The second is ordinary household's AC input voltage. The average data of the high voltage steady state turn on time value is in the order of lower than 50mS. Compare that data to the flying movement speed of the mosquito, it can fly distance of up 8.3 cm. This show that the mosquito detect process must be complete before the mosquito move or fly closer than 8.3 cm. to the mosquito trap. It is true that higher input voltage, the short steady state output voltage of the high voltage part. Use of this data is to optimize the input voltage or input type of the high voltage power supply that is appropriate for the mosquito detection.
