A Maximally Flat Group Delay Recursive Digital Filter with Controllable Magnitude

A recursive digital filter whose group delay approximates a prescribed constant value does not provide a designer with freedom on its magnitude response. This letter presents a simple technique to adjust the magnitude response while retaining its constant group delay characteristics. © 1978 IEEE
