| dc.description.abstract | The simple sawtooth generator is presented in this article. The circuit uses three actives (LT1228, NOT gate; CD4009, and NMOS) and passive (a capacitor and two resistors) elements. Electronically adjusting the generator's frequency can be independently achieved by the current bias (I C ). Besides, the sawtooth waveform's amplitude can be tuned via the electronic method, which R 2 > 100k. The simulated results are consistent with the theory analysis. | |
