This chapter has provided the reader with fundamental knowledge of Ultraviolet–visible (UV–Vis) techniques as well as applications on energy storage material and the latest progress in analytical chemistry. With the introduction of the progress in UV–Vis instrument application, this chapter not only presents the opportunity to improve conventional UV–Vis techniques but also announces a bright future for the UV–Vis spectrophotometer to measure more types of samples in practical works.
