| dc.description.abstract | This study demonstrates a resistorless floating lossy series RL-type inductor circuit utilizing voltage differencing buffered amplifiers (VDBAs) as active elements. The proposed lossy inductance simulator employs a canonical number of active and passive components, namely two VDBAs and only a grounded capacitor. It also realizes transconductance-tunable inductance value without needing any cancellation or element-matching constraints. As an illustrative application, the proposed floating inductor is used to construct a second-order lowpass filter practically. Computer simulation results with the real process 0.25-µm CMOS technology are used to confirm the workability of the proposed circuit and its application. | |
