A technique for realising grounded and floating negative resistances in monolithic integrated form is described. The conversion circuit will linearly and accurately convert a given resistance to a corresponding negative resistance with exactly the same magnitude. The dynamic range of the converted resistance is approximately | V<inf>cc</inf> — 3V<inf>BE</inf>|. © 1985, The Institution of Electrical Engineers. All rights reserved.
