| dc.description.abstract | The research aims to enhance the traditional endoscope by using fluorescence imaging techniques to improve the early detection of cervical cancer. This study focuses on improving the diagnostic accuracy and accessibility of cervical cancer screening through the development of a low-cost, highquality fluorescence colposcope. The scope of the study involves enhancing spatial information, standardizing procedures, and minimizing the need for biopsy. This research emphasizes the female reproductive system and fluorescence imaging techniques. The fluorescent colposcope hardware is designed with a smaller housing compared to other colposcopes. Fluorescent dye plays a crucial role in the imaging process, with Fluorescein Isothiocyanate (FITC) chosen due to its cost-effectiveness and compatibility with visible light wavelengths. The aim is to develop a more affordable and efficient solution for cervical cancer detection. | |
