    Three-Phase Oscillator with Cascade Ability Using Voltage Current Conveyor

    This paper presents a new circuit configuration employing voltage current conveyors (VCII) in conjunction with a minimal number of passive elements to achieve a voltage mode sinusoidal oscillator with a 3 -phase differential output. The proposed circuit features a straightforward architecture, with all passive elements connected to low-impedance nodes. Consisting solely of identical VCIIs without multiple outputs, the circuit facilitates the cascading of the 3 -phase outputs without requiring supplementary buffering. Simulation results obtained through PSPICE, along with experimental validation using commercial ICs, are provided to substantiate the efficacy of the proposed circuit.

    A Simple and Compact Transimpedance Mode dc Bridge Readout

    This paper presents a new circuit configuration of a transimpedance mode dc bridge based on an operational trans-resistance amplifier (OTRA) as an analog building block. The proposed circuit suits for small changing resistance detector. By taking the benefit of grounding property at the internal input port of the OTRA, a simple and compact dc bridge is obtained. The proposed circuit is composed of two sensing components together with a feedback resistor and only one operational trans-resistance amplifier. The circuit performances are verified by the PSPICE simulation using 0.35 m CMOS technology model parameters. The simulation results from circuit level agree well with the theoretical values.

    High Quality-Factor Shadow Bandpass Filters with Orthogonality to the Characteristic Frequency

    The paper proposes the topology and implementation of the shadow bandpass filter. The main advantage of this work is that the bandpass filter possesses the distinctively high-quality factor whereas the control of this quality factor is independent with the tunability of the characteristic frequency. The circuit configuration is realized and satisfactorily verified via PSpice simulation.

    Shadow bandpass filter with Q-improvement

    A new architecture of the shadow bandpass filters with the quality factor improvement is proposed. The presented idea employs external amplifiers cooperating with the classical biquad cell resulting in convenient electronic tunability of the characteristic frequency and the quality factor. The scheme obtains the benefit of the quality factor-improvement via feedback gains of the external amplifiers. The theory is verified by PSPICE simulation using 0.18 μm CMOS technology model parameters.

    Fully active and minimal shadow bandpass filter

    A new topology of shadow bandpass filters is presented in this paper. The proposed circuit employs the active building block of three voltage differencing transconductance amplifiers (VDTA) along with two grounded capacitors. This results in an additional attractive feature of being fully active and minimal component-count. Practical realization of the VDTA is also given and employed for circuit verification. PSPICE simulation with model parameters of 0.18μ m CMOS technology is included to confirm the filter functionality of the proposed filter.

    A modified bipolar translinear cell with improved linear range and its applications

    This paper presents a technique to extend the linear input voltage range of a sinh mixed translinear cell proposed by Fabre [1]. This technique extends the linear operation range of the circuit by inserting common-anodeconnected pairs into the mixed translinear cell. Then the relationship between the output current and the input voltage is developed to be linear. The transconductance gain can be adjusted electronically while keeping its linearity. The performance of the proposed circuit is verified by mathematical analysis and by SPICE simulations. Finally, applications of the proposed cell in a floating resistor and a CCCII for designing an instrumentation amplifier are presented.
