Item type:Publication, Image cryptography communication using FPAA-based multi-scroll chaotic system(2024-03-01) ;Karawanich, Khunanon ;Chimnoy, Jirat ;Khateb, Fabian ;Marwan, MuhammadPrommee, PipatThis research presents an image cryptography communication system based on a novel 3D high-complex chaotic system. The chaotic system is implemented by field programmable analog array (FPAA), which is a conveniently reconfigurable system. The image cryptography communication system is realized using low-cost microcontrollers and commercially available devices. The proposed chaotic system based on the jerk model incorporated two different nonlinear functions that can generate single-scroll, double-scroll, three-scroll, four-scroll, and six-scroll attractors by adjusting only one coefficient. The fundamental dynamical properties of the proposed system are investigated, viz., equilibria and stability, dissipative, phase portraits, bifurcation, and Lyapunov exponent, etc. The four-scroll attractor of the proposed system is applied in image encryption. The multi-scroll attractor’s characteristic in this work can achieve relatively high complexity, with a high Kaplan–Yorke dimension of up to 2.45. The performances of the multi-scroll chaotic using FPAAs are proven by comparing the experimental and numerical results. The image cryptography communication system based on the chaotic masking method (CM) has been tested around 1 × 107 bits under 9600 bps. The measuring signals of the image cryptography communication system are demonstrated in different scenarios. The experimental results can be ensured that mismatched parameters give the complete cipher image if and only if the bit error rate is more significant than 490,000 × 10–6. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Low-cost tunable light source using RGB-LED module for absorption spectroscope(2019-01-01) ;Kamoldilok, Surachart ;Phongwisit, PhacharaTipaphong, WeraphanThis paper focused for possibility to use RGB-LED module as a tunable light source for absorption spectroscope. Nowadays, commercial instrument uses Xenon lamp with Monochromator to select a specific wavelength for tested some properties on a sample. This part is a core of performance in an instrument and it increase cost of an instrument. In this paper, RGB-LED module will replace for a part of Xenon lamp and Monochromator to select a specific wavelength for measurement absorption or transmission properties. By used Arduino controller with pulse-width modulation method (PWM), a specific wavelength can control by mixed light that emitted from RGB-LED module. Resolution from this method can tuned an optical wavelength in range of visible light (400-700 nm) by 5 nm. Results from this work had difference from the commercial instrument less than 5%. Accuracy of this setup was proved with standard deviation (SD) and uncertainty about 0.0904 and 0.0286. This work can apply for light source to studies absorption or transmission properties of material in basics laboratory. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Fabrication of low cost anodic aluminum oxide (AAO) tubular membrane and their application for hemodialysis(2012-10-16) ;Kasi, Ajab Khan ;Kasi, Jafar Khan ;Hasan, Mahadi ;Afzulpurkar, NitinPratontep, SirapatThis paper reports the fabrication of AAO tubular membrane using 99.35% and 99.58% pure Al and their potential application for hemodialysis. Here we discussed the effect of impurity on membrane structure. We found that the self organized structure of AAO nanochannels minimize the impurity defects in AAO membrane. If micro size impurity blocks the generation of AAO nanochannels then the neighboring nanochannels bend and make branches to fulfill that gap. We observed that if impurity size is less than the AAO membrane thickness then it does not produce micro size hole. In low grade Al the periodic hexagonal order was disturbed however there was no big difference in pore diameter. It was observed that such type of membrane does not suffer from leakage problem and it can be used for filtration. The fabricated tubular membrane was used for hemodialysis successfully. The hemodialysis results show that AAO tubular membrane can be used for both diffusive and convective filtration. © (2012) Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland.
