Item type:Publication, Classification of N, P, and K concentrations in durian (Durio zibethinus murray cv. mon thong) leaves using near-infrared spectroscopy(2022-08-24); ;Jaisue, Natthapon ;Tawinteung, Nukoon; A good durian fruit should be supported by sufficient nutrient concentrations. If farmers can quickly determine the nutrient concentration in leaves, they can control fertilisation. Near-infrared (NIR) spectroscopy is a rapid non-destructive test for estimating nutrient concentration. Measuring nutrient concentrations requires chemical analysis and is a time-consuming process. The aim of this paper is a preliminary test for classifying the N, P, and K concentration levels to determine the possibility of creating models in the future to help farmers obtain information on durian tree nutrient requirements quickly. The models reported in this paper were created by PLS-DA, which had higher accuracy than SVM and the SIMCA method. Fresh durian leaf samples were used, and the spectra provided greater accuracy than the dried ground leaf sample spectra. The classification models had an accuracy of 88.89, 81.25, and 86.36% for predicting N, P, and K, respectively.2 - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Effects of interaction between nitrogen and potassium on the growth and yield of cassava(2018-12-01) ;Thummanatsakun, V.Nitrogen and potassium are necessary nutrients for cassava and are generally deficient in soil, particularly nitrogen. High nitrogen fertilizer applications may induce greater a potassium requirement. The results showed that increasing nitrogen rates significantly increased plant height, SPAD value of the upper and lower leaf, the fresh and dry weight of leaf blade, stem+petiole, tuber and total weight. Increasing potassium rates was decreased the SPAD value of lower leaves. Nitrogen uptake in OSC and tuber was significantly affected by interaction between N and K, but N uptake in the leaf blade and the total N uptake were affected by increasing N rates. Potassium uptake in tuber and total K uptake were significantly affected by interaction between N and K but K uptake in stem+petiole and OSC affected by increasing K rates. Furthermore, the total uptake of N and K gave a high positive correlation with the fresh and dry weight of all plant parts except OSC. The correlation coefficient between uptake N and K in the leaf blade, stem+petiole, OSC, and tuber were 0.85**, 0.83**, 0.35* and 0.87**, respectively. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Effects of organic fertilizer application on the transformation of nitrogen in paddy soil(2018-12-01) ;Supsuan, P. ;Surin, P.The effect of different types of organic fertilizer on the availability of nitrogen in paddy soil was determined. The soil samples were collected from an organic rice field in Nongchok District, Bangkok. The results showed that the soil pH of all treatments increased from 5.3 to 6.9 and 7.2. The cumulative N mineralization of sunn hemp was the highest (121.33 mg N/kg), but no significant difference was compared to for other organic fertilizers. The change of AHN was increased at the start of incubation and decreased after 70 days of incubation. It indicated that the AHN changed to ammonium. The potential N mineralization of control, cow manure, compost and sunn hemp were 95.34, 109.90, 107.23 and 114.53 mg N/kg, respectively. The K values indicated the mineralization rate of control, cow manure, compost and sunn hemp which were 0.2095, 0.2075, 0.2053 and 0.1992 mg N/kg, respectively.1 - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Photocatalytic of N-doped TiO2 nanofibers prepared by electrospinning(2013-01-01) ;Suphankij, Sineenart; Nitrogen-doped TiO<inf>2</inf> nanofibers were prepared by electrospinning process using ammonium acetate (CH3COONH4) as nitrogen sources and titanium (IV) isopropoxide (TiP) in 2-methoxyethanol as starting precursor. The different amount of nitrogen in TiO<inf>2</inf> was introduced into the fibers. The structural properties of nitrogen-doped TiO<inf>2</inf> nanofibers were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), field emission scanning electron microscope (FE-SEM), and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). XRD results indicated that the crystallinity of as-prepared fibers and after calcined corresponds to phase of TiO<inf>2</inf> independent on nitrogen content. XPS indicates that nitrogen was doped effectively into the fibers. Nitrogen-doped TiO<inf>2</inf> nanofiber materials were utilized as the photocatalyst in dye photodegradation under visible light. The significant absorption enhancement in visible region was obtained by nitrogen-doped TiO<inf>2</inf> nanofibers relating to the improvement of photocatalytic efficiency comparing to undoped-TiO<inf>2</inf>. © 2013 The Authors. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Effect of nitrogen doping on optical and photocatalytic properties of TiO2 thin film prepared by spin coating process(2013-01-01); ;Khumtong, Thanakorn ;Rattanarak, Jiravat ;Techitdheera, WicharnNitrogen-doped TiO<inf>2</inf> thin films were prepared by spin coating on glass substrate. Different amount of nitrogen doped in TiO<inf>2</inf> matrix was 0, 3 and 10%. As-obtained films were annealed at 400°C for 2 h. The optical and photocatalytic properties of N-doped TiO<inf>2</inf> thin films were analyzed via UV-Vis spectrophotometry. The chemical properties were investigated by Fourier transform infrared spectrometer and Raman spectroscopy. When doping TiO<inf>2</inf> with nitrogen, its absorption spectrum is shifted to visible region resulting to the enhancement of photocatalyst properties in dye photodegradation. Raman and FTIR patterns show that N-doped TiO<inf>2</inf> pattern is still identical to undoped TiO<inf>2</inf> pattern resulting to unsubstitutation of nitrogen atom in Ti-O bonding. © 2013 The Authors.1
