Item type:Publication, DC motor speed control using fuzzy logic based on LabVIEW(2006-12-01) ;Thepsatorn, P.; ;Tipsuwanporn, V.Teanthong, T.This paper presents implement in speed control of a separately excited DC motor using fuzzy logic control (FLC) based on Lab VIEW (Laboratory Virtual Instrument Engineering Workbench) program. Lab VIEW, is a graphical programming environment suited for high-level or system-level design. Therefore, the principle that are data flow model, different from text-base programming and a sequential model. The user-friendly interface and toolbox design are shown the high level of suitableness and stability of Lab VIEW and fuzzy logic on speed control of DC motor. The fuzzy logic controller designed to applies the required control voltage that sent to dc motor based on fuzzy rule base of motor speed error ( e ) and change of speed error (ce). The results show the control as a FLC that do the comparison with PI and PIP Controller. © 2006 ICASE. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Adaptive switching frequency in delta modulation inverter for single phase induction motor drives(2005-12-01) ;Tipsuwanporn, V. ;Sodaban, C.Thepsatorn, P.This paper proposes a new technique for generating control signal pattern to driving a single phase induction motor by mean of improving the switching frequency of inverter employed Delta pulse Width Modulation control .The technique can be used to solving problem due to unstable switching frequency and harmonics when applying the normal Delta-modulation technique, and also, having simple circuit structure. Results from implementations shown that such technique could provide the switching frequency stable and reduce accumulated harmonic of current and Voltage, in addition, the voltage could be controlled through the modulation parameter resulting to decrement of lower order harmonic. Experiments results were compared to ordinary technique for verification. © 2005 IEEE. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Adjustable energy control with ICBRM technique(2002-01-01) ;Tipsuwanporn, V.; ;Thepsatorn, P. ;Piyarat, W.Sawaengsinkasikit, W.This paper presents a control method for single-phase and three-phase AC voltage supply by mean of ICBRM variable energy control technique which provides suitable power supply feeding to load requirements, and also, improve the feeding efficiency resulting in increased energy saving. The Integral Cycle Binary Rate Modulation (ICBRM) signals are integral cycle compositions of 8-bit binary rate multiplier (BRM) and 50 Hz, three-phase AC voltage signals which are divided into 8 parts per cycle, so that 2040 patterns are provided for the single-phase and three-phase feeding applications. Experimental results shows that such methods can be properly implemented for lighting bulbs and three-phase induction motor with low energy loss. This mean that the technique provides high efficiency performance and conducts energy saving. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Quick torque controlled SPIM using PID controller based on PLL technique(2000-01-01) ;Tipsuwanporn, V. ;Charean, A. ;Piyarat, W. ;Kittisiam, T.Thepsatorn, P.This paper proposes the PERM technique by using the phase locked loop (PLL) and binary rate multiplier (BRM) techniques combined together to control the speed of a single-phase induction motor (SPIM). The system simulation is based on utilizing a discrete signal and the root locus technique to analyze the stability of the system before design. It is an easy method to determine the result response of the system. The PERM can adjust the circle criterion in the digital loop by considering a K ratio value between 0.179 to 1.85. This PERM technique can also control response signals back to steady state in less than 1.7 second during variable load or no load.
