Item type:Publication, Structural Equation Modeling of Green Economy Outcomes in Thailand’s Manufacturing Industry(2024-08-03) ;Lalaeng, ChanyaphakHongsakul, BharisThis research aimed to analyze the causal relationship model and outcomes of the Green Economy in Thailand’s manufacturing industry. Data was collected through a questionnaire targeting small and medium enterprise (SME) operators in the Thai textil e manufacturing industry, who are registered as legal entities and SME members. The statistical analysis involved confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) and structural equation modeling (SEM). The major findings revealed that the structural model was well-aligned with the empirical data. The study demonstrated that the Green Economy, market effectiveness, and competitive advantage all had significant positive effects on business performance. Further analysis showed that the Green Economy directly influenced market pressures and competitive advantage. Additionally, the study identified positive direct relationships between market pressures, green dynamic capabilities, and socially responsible leadership with the Green Economy. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, INFLUENCES OF ENVIRONMENT CONTEXT AND E-BUSINESS ADOPTION ON BUSINESS PERFORMANCE OF THE RETAIL READY-MADE GARMENT BUSINESS(2024-01-01) ;Siriwatpatara, RapeepunRojniruttikul, NuttawutPurpose: The objective of this research was to study the influences that affect the business performance of the retail ready-made garment businesses. Method: The study focused on the use of a quantitative method with a questionnaire as the tool for data collection from a sample of 240 retail ready-made garment businesses. Data analyses included descriptive statistics and the Structural Equation Model (SEM). Results and Discussions: The findings revealed that the Chi-square = 60.175, df = 44, CMIN/DF = 1.770, GFI=.963, CFI=.992, AGFI=.914, and RMSEA= .055 The structural equation model demonstrated that the environment context and e-business adoption influence the business performance of retail ready-made garment businesses with statistical significance. The variance of the business performance to use was affected by all two factors 74% (R2 = .74) while the remainder was affected by other factors. Nevertheless, it was also revealed that, in the operation of retail ready-made garment businesses, the value chain for e-businesses includes business performance, production, logistics, the infrastructure of human resources, and finance. E-business adoption influences business performance by beneficially leading to efficient operations and the sustainable growth of organizations. Research Implications: Nowadays, the direction of the market and consumers' behavior changes continuously. Naturally, fashion products run in competition with customer demand. At the same time, the duration of sales is starting to shorten due to the faster changing social conditions than in the past. Moreover, the purchasing tendency of customers changes and the product price starts to be lower. However, they focus on buying mix and match garments according to the fashion trend and at a friendly price. Furthermore, the lifestyle of a customer in the new age builds a bond with technology access, such as internet access/ online social via communication devices. These devices are elevated to major roles in modern lifestyles, such as smartphones. It affects alertness in online shopping and greatly influences daily shopping. Entrepreneurs must adjust strategies and business management to be more efficient and effective. Originality/Value: Therefore, the retail ready-made garment business has changed from the past in a high number, in terms of consumption behaviors of target customers, patterns of business administration, and marketing strategy. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, STRUCTURAL EQUATION MODELING FOR THE BUSINESS PERFORMANCE OF PRIVATE HOSPITALS IN THAILAND: MANAGEMENT PERSPECTIVE(2024-01-01) ;Subongkod, MallikaHongsakul, BharisThis research aimed to study the causal factors affecting the business performance of private hospitals in Thailand from a management perspective. The sample consisted of 411 executives from private hospitals in Thailand, selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected via questionnaire, with SEM being used for analysis. The results indicated that the development of an enterprise resource system, including the competency and capability of entrepreneurs, positively influenced the focus on competitive differentiation. In turn, this focus had a positive effect on customer relationship management. Customer relationship manage-ment positively impacted brand loyalty, which subsequently enhanced business performance. In contrast, the competency and capability of entrepreneurs did not have an effect on business performance. The findings suggest that the growth and sustainability of business performance in private hospitals depends on various supportive factors. These range from policy formulation and the development of technological systems in services to strategies for building customer relationships, all contributing to competitive advantages, service loyalty, and success in achieving set goals. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, The Causal Relationship of the Application of the BCG Economic Model Affecting the Competitive Advantage and Performance of Community Enterprise(2024-01-01) ;Lalaeng, ChanyaphakWongkaeo, SukanyaThis research aimed to study the causal relationship of the application of the BCG economic model affecting the competitive advantage and performance of community enterprise. The sample consisted of 280 executives from president or vice president of a community enterprise group in Thailand. Data were collected via questionnaire, with SEM being used for analysis. The results indicated that 1) business resources capabilities positively affect the application of the BCG economic model, competitive advantage, and performance of community enterprise. Therefore, community enterprises should pay attention to business resources capabilities, which includes the value of resources, scarcity of resources, difficulty in imitation, and organizational management abilities. 2) the application of the BCG economic model positively affect competitive advantage, and performance of community enterprise. Therefore, community enterprises should pay attention to the application of the BCG economic model to their operations, which includes bio economy, circular economy and green economy. 3) Competitive advantage positively affect performance of community enterprise. Therefore, the organization must develop to lead to creating a competitive advantage, consisting of making a difference, cost advantage and rapid response.
