Item type:Publication, Shape memory laser-induced graphene electrode based on polybenzoxazine-co-epoxy coated fabric and its electrochemical sensor application(2025-12-01) ;Luengrojanakul, Panuwat ;Klamchuen, Annop ;Leepheng, Piyawan ;Tunhoo, BenchapolCharoensuk, KrittapasIn this investigation, CO<inf>2</inf> direct laser writing is performed on BA-a/NGDE shape memory polymer matrix coated fabric. Findings show that the quality and surface coverage of formed laser-induced graphene (LIG) are dependent on BA-a content. The LIGs acquired at higher BA-a content possess low sheet resistance (∼10–15 Ω/sq), facilitating its use as joule heater for shape memory actuation (T<inf>avg</inf> ∼130 °C at 20 V for BOZ70-LIG). Furthermore, the fabricated LIG electrode shows potential use as electrochemical sensor with ΔE<inf>p</inf> of 88–200 mV and k0 of 0.005 cm s-1 (20 mm length) for 1 mM K<inf>4</inf>[Fe(CN)<inf>6</inf>]/0.1 M KCl. The 40 mm electrode length also maintains respectable electrochemical performance even after subjecting LIG to shape deformation and recovery. Moreover, the molecular imprinted polymer (MIP) modified LIG electrode also exhibits promising results in selective dopamine detection through leucodopaminechrome in PBS with linear detection range of 1.0–15.0 μM and LOD of 0.61 μM. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Laser-induced graphene electrochemical immunosensors for rapid and sensitive serological detection: A case study on dengue detection platform(2025-06-01) ;Inlumphan, Supawee ;Wongwiriyapan, Winadda ;Khemasiri, Narathon ;Rattanawarinchai, PrapakornLeepheng, PiyawanHere, we present a diagnostic on a chip platform based on laser-induced graphene (LIG) electrochemical immunosensors for serological detection. The electrochemical immunosensors are fabricated through CO<inf>2</inf> laser induction on polyimide (PI) sheets. Optimal electrochemical activity of LIG electrodes is obtained under optimized conditions of laser fluence. To verify the application, the serological detection platform was demonstrated. After functionalization with dengue virus (DENV) antigen, the LIG electrochemical immunosensors are able to sense the presence of mouse anti-flavivirus monoclonal (4G2) antibody in a wide linear working range of 25–20,000 ng/ml with the limit of detection (LOD) of 17.41 ng/ml. A specific recognition with 4G2 antibodies against with media protein and isotype is confirmed. Furthermore, the reliability of LIG electrochemical immunosensors compared to conventional enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) is verified through the NS1 antibodies identification in human blood serum clinical samples at room temperature. Our results highlight that the LIG-based electrode is a promising platform for electrochemical immunosensors, aimed at developing reliable and practical diagnostic tools for serological detection. These tools enable early diagnosis of infectious diseases, as well as non-invasive and rapid screening. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, A Co3O4 nano-octahedron modified fluorine doped tin oxide electrochemical sensor for detection of benzobicyclon(2018-03-15) ;Puangjan, ApinyaChaiyasith, SuwanUnique Co<inf>3</inf>O<inf>4</inf> nano-octahedrons for modifying electrode were synthesized through simple chemical reaction. This versatile Co<inf>3</inf>O<inf>4</inf> nanostructure possesses the combined advantages of morphological stability and high porosity that can buffer volume change during electrochemical cycles, shorten diffusion path of electron transport, and exhibit remarkable overall electrochemical performance. Samples were characterized by field transmission electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy, energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy, X-ray diffractometry, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy. An electrode modified by this material was used for detection of benzobicyclon. Square wave voltammetry showed that there was a linear relationship between peak current and concentration in the range of 10.00–582.96 μmol L−1 with a detection limit (S/N = 3) of 0.38 μmol L−1. The modified electrode was used for detection of benzobicyclon in brown rice and rice straw samples with satisfactory recovery, reproducibility and stability. Modified electrodes reported in the literature that were prepared by different methods resulted in other kinds of surface morphologies that did not exhibit the same level of performance. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Non-enzymatic urea sensor using molecularly imprinted polymers surface modified based-on ion-sensitive field effect transistor (ISFET)(2016-11-25) ;Rayanasukha, Y. ;Pratontep, S. ;Porntheeraphat, S. ;Bunjongpru, W.Nukeaw, J.A novel molecularly imprinted electrochemical sensor based on ISFET device has been developed for urea detection sensor. The molecularly imprinted polymers (MIPs) were prepared by photopolymerization on the surface of ISFET device using PMMA and urea as the functional polymer and molecular template, respectively. The fabricated sensors were characterized by potentiometry and UV-Vis spectroscopy. The preparation conditions were optimized for performance of the sensors, i.e. drop-cast volume and incubation time. The MIP modified ISFET sensors has linear range response from 1.0 × 10− 4 to 1.0 × 10− 1 M with the limit of detection of 1.0 × 10− 4 M (S/N = 3). The MIP modified ISFET sensors also exhibit excellent reproducibility, repeatability and stability, as well as high selectivity to urea. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, An efficient ZrO2/Co3O4/reduced graphene oxide nanocomposite electrochemical sensor for simultaneous determination of gallic acid, caffeic acid and protocatechuic acid natural antioxidants(2016-09-01) ;Puangjan, ApinyaChaiyasith, SuwanA novel efficient ZrO<inf>2</inf>/Co<inf>3</inf>O<inf>4</inf>/reduced graphene oxide (rGO) nanocomposite catalyst was prepared by a reflux method. Then, the nanocomposite was positively characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDS). Afterward, the nanocomposite was fabricated into an electrochemical sensor by casting it onto the surface of a fluorine doped tin oxide (FTO) electrode. The ZrO<inf>2</inf>/Co<inf>3</inf>O<inf>4</inf>/rGO nanocomposite/FTO exhibited a synergistic catalytic effect toward oxidation of gallic acid (GA), caffeic acid (CA) and protocatechuic acid (PA) with the oxidation peak currents increasing linearly with concentrations in the range of 6.24-477.68 nmol L-1, 2.48-524.90 nmol L-1 and 5.40-424.96 nmol L-1 and the limits of detection (S/N = 3) of 1.56 nmol L-1 for GA, 0.62 nmol L-1 for CA and 1.35 nmol L-1 for PA. The proposed electrode was then successfully used for simultaneous determination of the three species in fruit juice, rice and tea samples with satisfactory recoveries, showing the feasibility of its use for electrochemical sensing application.
