Item type:Publication, Compact Wilkinson Power Divider with Common Inductor on the IPD Process(2021-01-01); Wang, SenThis paper presents a Wilkinson power divider using a common inductor. The lumped topology uses the inherently inductive loss of the inductor as a part of the design, so the conventional resistor for high isolation can be omitted. Therefore, low-loss and high-isolation performances of the compact circuit were achieved. The proposed 2.5-GHz divider was implemented on a silicon-based integrated passive device process. Measurement of the prototype chip had a reflection coefficient below 18 dB at all ports, an insertion loss of 0.5 dB and isolation above 28 dB. The chip size is merely 0.011λ o× 0.019λ o.1 - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, High-performance current-controlled CDCCC and its applications(2014-10-01); Khateb, FabianThis paper presents a new high performance active element named Current Controlled Currents Differencing Current Copy Conveyer (CC-CDCCC). The main features of this element are large dynamic range, wide bandwidth and high accuracy. Furthermore, its intrinsic resistances of two input current terminals can be independently set by external balancing bias currents which lead to use low number of active elements. To demonstrate the high performance of the CC-CDCCC, two current-mode signal processing applications are presented in this paper i.e. universal filters and quadrature oscillator. Both of these applications are electronically controlled for a wide range of frequencies and they employ single CC-CDCCC and two grounded capacitors which are advantageous for monolithic integration. PSpice simulation results using the 0.25 μm CMOS technology from TSMC are included to verify the correct functionality of the proposed circuit. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Novel resistorless mixed-mode PID controller with improved low-frequency performance(2013-10-22) ;Silaruam, Vinai ;Lorsawatsiri, AnureeThis paper introduces a new resistorless mixedmode proportional-integral-derivative (PID) controller. It employs six simple transconductors and only two grounded capacitors. The proposed PID controller offers several advantageous features of resistorless configuration, use of grounded capacitors, independent electronic-tuning characteristic of its parameters, and mixed-mode operation such as current, transimpedance, transadmittance, and voltage modes. The parasitic element effects of the transconductors on the proposed controller are investigated and the improved low-frequency performance of the proposed controller is then discussed. As applications, the proposed controller is demonstrated on two closed-loop systems. The PSPICE simulations with TSMC 0.18μm CMOS process and ±0.9 V supply voltage verify the theoretical analysis.1
