Item type:Publication, Wireless Carbon Monoxide Level Control and Monitoring SystemThis paper proposes an online carbon monoxide control and monitoring system. The proposed system comprises an MQ-7 CO gas sensor module, a DHT11 digital temperature and humidity sensor module, an ESP8266 module, and a Relay Module. The ThingSpeak platform is used to create HMI for online monitoring of CO level, temperature, humidity, and status of the ventilation fan. This proposed system can measure CO and monitor all parameters of measurement data, alert users when CO values exceed the set value. In addition, the measured CO values are used to control the ventilation system operation (ON or OFF) to maintain the CO at a non-harmful level. The experiment testing and results with three conditions show that the proposed system can measure and monitor CO level, temperature, and humidity online with satisfying values. The ventilation fan can operate with function as a design procedure and maintain CO at a non-harmful level. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Resistive-Sensor Interfacing Circuit for Remote Measurement Using CFOA(2024-01-01); ; ; Kaewpoonsuk, AnuchaAn alternative approach to implementing an interfacing circuit for resistive sensor-based remote measurement is presented. The proposed technique uses a Current Feedback Operational Amplifier (CFOA) as an active building block to produce an output voltage linearly related to the resistance of the sensor. Moreover, the accuracy of the output voltage is improved by the enhancement of CFOA. In addition, the proposed circuit provides compensation for the effects of lead-wire resistance. The performance of the proposed technique is discussed in detail and confirmed by PSPICE program simulation and experimental implementation. The resistance decade box is used in the experiment. The maximum error on the output voltage of the experimental results is about 0.4234 %. Item type:Publication, Bitmap picture to toolpaths converter for NC machineA simple method to create the toolpaths from bitmap picture of the workpiece for NC machine is described in this article. Halftone process is used to reproduce a continuous tone picture to binary tone picture for making a prototype picture. The obtained two dimensions picture with halftone process is employed to create the toolpaths of the sample workpiece. The workpiece dimension can be scaled to limitation of work table of NC machine by user with independent of picture resolution. The toolpaths are created as cutter location data (CL) that can be imported to postprocessor for NC machine. The proposed method is developed using visual C# programming language under window environment. Experimental implementation exhibits that the proposed bitmap picture to toolpath converter is efficient for the postprocessor to generate machine command for sculpture the workpiece from bitmap picture. ©ICROS. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, A novel resolver-to-DC converter based on OTA-based inverse-sine function circuit(2008-12-01) ;Kaewpoonsuk, Anucha; ; ; A new technique for realizing the resolver-to-DC converter using the OTA-based inverse-sine function circuit is presented. The proposed converter comprises the demodulator, absolute detector, minimum detector, ± unity-gain amplifier, controlled signal logic circuit, and OTA-based inverse-sine function circuit. The output voltage is linearly proportional to the resolver angle with maximum absolute error of about 0.195%, which is less than the error from the conventional resolver-to-DC converter based on the similar OTA-based inverse-sine function circuit. Item type:Publication, Automatic Control Crude Oil Feeder System(2022-01-01); ;Vichachuai, E.This paper presents a practical technique to design/improvement the existing Thailand crude storage tanks system from manual valves to automatic control for decrease the operator waste time by using programable logic controllers (PLCs) interface to the main controller (DCS) of the existing system via using Profibus protocol mapping data to control motor-operated valve (MOVs) which upgrade from existing system which uses manual valve operate by the operator. The controlled MOV utilized follows a recipe from a master controller for mixing crude oil from each tank and feeding it to the header after this supply to the refinery process. The proposed technique is based on the use of Profibus protocol to manage data to control MOVs by using PLCs modeled B&R X20CP3586 for interconnections of four nodes through Profibus master modeled B&R X20IF1061-1 for twelve slaves, eighteen slaves, fifteen slaves and two slaves for each node, and master controller over a control network to communicate between master control (DCS) with PLCs through DP/DP couple modeled Siemens SIMATIC DP 6ES7158-0AD01-0XA0 working as a Profibus gateway. Input status and output command of each MOV valve are sent/receive and controlled by the PLCs are specified with command and status byte for cyclic communications. The proposed PLC control system for control of the MOV valve can operate following the manufacturer's requirements with fast response and more reliability.1
