Item type:Publication, Design of PLC networks using remote I/O module based on controller area network(2001-09-22); ; ;Tipsuwanporn, V. ;Kongratana, V.Kulphanich, S.In this paper, the design of the networks system through CAN bus is presented. To distribute the control points with a long distance and different located for the application to on-off electrical equipment by the remote I/O module. The controlling and communication between the PLC and the remote I/O modules are used by the CAN bus serial communication. In this paper, the experiment has been set up the maximum of 32 remote I/O modules. Each remote I/Os are linked to host PLC programmed for handling a interrupt request from any remote I/O independently. Therefore, the scanning time of the controller not effects. By using this technique, the controller(PLC) can be efficiently applied to the several hundred meters. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings

This circuit can be converted to 4-bit output at each moment, and multiple output bit numbers by serial connection. A current mode, the active current mirror and current comparators that controlled reference current by W/L ratio, has been used. Its feasibility agrees with simulation results of PSPICE program. The circuit design used CMOS 0.8 μm which is capable to convert 4 -bit in 50 nS, power consumed 0.127 mW, input current 0-100 μA and single 3V supply. However, it seldom gets use because it is almost impossible to find out a precise mathematical model of the practical system and very sensitive to uncertain system with variable time-delay. In this paper is concerned with a design method of smith predictor for temperature control system by Coefficient Diagram Method (CDM). The simulation results show that the control system with smith predictor design by CDM is stable and robust whilst giving the desired time domain system performance.
